pc for different users

hey i want to share my pc among two users using windows xp.
the two users shouldnot b able to use each others' files etc and have completely different partitions and os to use for themselves with a single common partition as well
pls help!!

I am not getting ur problem exactly.Sorry dude.

As far I can understand ..you want two user,two OS,two partion and both can access all files,floder.
U need not to do anything,as far as ur partition are FAT32.But if ur partion is NTFS,than u need to set user policy in properties.

i mean to say that i want to install winxp on two diff partitions so tht each person can use diff os independently and should not b able to share each others' files

^^^^^^^^^no need to do anything.It will be possible.Only take care when the partition is nfts.

if the partitions are in ntfs, are u sure the two users will not b able to use each others's partition. bcoz i have win xp on two diff partitions and i can access contents of one partition from other partition.
this is wot i dont want!!

^^^^^^^^^u need to make user policy of drive in properties.
