phenom II x4 925 is the cheapest one
athlon is basically a phenom without l3 cache. and for rendering and all presence of l3 cache does not make much difference at same clock speed. there is very little difference in gaming. but increased clock speeds with l3 cache will benefit however. but 945 is just 100mhz faster than 635. so you wont notice much performance difference in your work by paying extra 2k.
