Its pretty easy and non-destructive. All you have to do is select the same partitions in Vector's installation and it'll format them. Next you have to let Vector overwrite the GRUB too, and the Linux will be replaced. No changes to Windows unless you select a windows partition.
And even if by any chance (Very minute) that your GRUB doesn't show Windows partitions, you can simply add an entry and it'll be fixed. Just as simple as you'd edit boot.ini. (Here it is /boot/grub/menu.lst)
