Is it possible to share files with LAN users thru P2P?
Windows file sharing creates problem while playing multiplayer games. you can disable file sharing but later u have to share folders individually.

is there a software for LAN p2p? or a normal p2p client like edonkey/emule can be configured to use on lan?

odc5.31 software for lan sharin.
link for odc
*gempond.com/odc/download.php

it requires one more soft i.e yhub
*www.dcdev.net/YnHub/?page=download

You require to input u r ip(lan) adress in yhub in settings and then
same ip must be input in odc.

It means only one person requires to start yhub. and odc is must for every user.

odc is nothing but dc++... in dc++ while downloading a file, it downloads from a single user at a time.. if that fails then it looks for alternative sources.. after some kickin and battering i configured Emule to run on LAN.. emule downloads from multiple sources simultaneously!!

odc is much better andd latest version with new features like doesnt require to wait for hashing while uploading ...
u can make settings and can download fr multiple members as per u r lan speed.

Use FTP ! and make password protected folders. So no one can copy unless u want them to. And somehow it works faster than normal windows file sharing. I don't really know how.
