Broken In
I have Athlon II 240 with default Heat Sink & fan on AM3 board. Over time, after 2 + years of use some dust and dirt are depositing between the heatsink fins i would like to clean up those dirt by opening loose the fan & heat sink. I've tried to unloose twice or thrice, but unsucess, i've never done it before, moreover i am afraid i may break some parts without following the right procedure.
Can anyone of you show me how to dismantle the fan, heatsink & cpu in a step by step procedure pictoral illustration will be highly appreciated if possible. Also, i may like to re-apply TIM (thermal paste) if could loose open the cpu & cooling component sucessfully.
