That's a pathetic excuse to not upload good quality coverage. Current Indian networks are carrying better quality. If you look around utube, there are already better quality bollywood/hollywood videos which run very smooth on Indian connections.[/q
By the way, noone uses 256/512 kbps nowadays. It seems you live on some cheap shoddy connection.
The cheapest 1mbps unlimited connection is Rs. 999. Airtel and BSNL don't even provide 1mbps "Unlimited" - they cap your downloads and then decrease your speed.
At the end of the day, TRAI/DoT needs to give us faster connections. Broadband is currently defined as 256kbps. Make it 2mbps.
Check this video of 10 times better quality than what over-expensive thugs ESPN/utube is offering for IPL -
Video on Demand
Quality is exactly similar to the video which I posted above.
And by the way, this coverage was done by a government agency(NIC). I know you hate them but they gave better than what utube did for IPL. Now, that's not to say IPL should be given to NIC LOL!
I would have loved it.
I'm not a keyboard warrior like you sir.
But knowing NIC, they would have made the website saying "Best viewed in Internet Explorer 5.5" - "You are using Mozilla Firefox on Linux. Please use Internet Explorer 6.0 and above on Windows."
Just showing you that Indians are not so backward that you can sell them low quality mangoes and then claim "be happy with what you get".
