Right off the assembly line
I want to buy a 1 GB graphic card for my Dell Inspiron 1464. My notebook configuration is as follows-
Intel core i3-330M(2.13 Ghz,4 threads, 3M cache) Processor,
3GB (1x2GB/1x1GB) 1067MHz DDR3 SDRAM,
320GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive,
Optical drive bezel, for DVD +/- RW.
My budget is Rs. 2500. I would prefer Nvidia. Please suggest an appropriate graphic card model.

You can't add a graphics card to a notebook or laptop, so you have to do with the gpu you have in your notebook

Wow. That was an epic idea OP. Dont worry, some companies are creating hardware that can act as graphic card through USB. I have seen the videos and reviews about it, but too bad I do not remember it now. Just google around, and you will find it.
Also I do not think this hardware is available in India yet.

Mentioning this would be almost equivalent of providing false hope :(

Indian Market is a complete Hopeless, don't expect it to change or learn, instead of you getting learned & changed.

UPDATE: The eXternal Graphics solution that I was talking about. I found the link at last, ofcourse in youtube. See the video in the following link, it has more than enough proof that there is a new technology that can be used by laptop owners to upgrade their gfx solution.
