NTFS in XP??

hi....i am connecting a spare hard drive as a secondary slave on my comp. which runs on windows xp pro service pack 1....but when i click on a partition ..it say that the partition is unreadable or corrupt...but the same hard disk works fine on my friends comp. with almost the same configuration.

any ideas on wats happenin??

check if ur xp is on a FAT32 file system .i think Ur xp is installed on a FAT32 partition and u r trying 2 access a NTFS partition .So in order to access ur drive ,u hav to convert ur slave disk to fat32.
