See ... I gave my DKU-5 to my friend ...
He transfered the wallpapers n ringtones sucessfully

So, what is that you really want to do with the Data cable??

i also wnat to transfer rigtones and wallpapers from PCto phone using DATA CABLE.But my Phone 6610i is not being detected by PC .Whenever i attach it , PC says unrecognozed USB drive or USB device has Malfuctioned ....PLz help

but the cable is not NOKIA original one . its a compatible one. So cant go to NOKIA CARE.Any more suggestions.BTW is there only one person in the entire forum with NOKIA 6610i data cable.

got the cable replaced by the shop keeper.But still the problem exists.By brother told that the problem os due to drivers , the computer is not able to find the proper drivers so it is displaying "USB device not recognzed" etc..
PLZ SOMEONE HELP>iNEED UR HELP BADLY.

downlaaded ur drivers.
Insatlled USb driver .Restart.
Installed DKU 5 driver .Restart.
Installed latest NoKIA PC SUITE .Restart.

BUT STILL THE SAME PROBLEM.

hey as i said .. see then there can only be two things
either the cable is faulty or the phone's port needs a repair
btw try the phone using someone else computer n cable

whaaaa!!!! :shock: u should have bought the orignal one ! even i have faced some problems installing origanal ones (dku 2 specialy, not in dku 5 it installed in single try),may god help you with not orignal one.

U have bought the data cable with Prolific 2303 bridge.U can only use Oxygen Phone Manager with this cable.Nokia Pc-Suite will not recognize this cable.Download OPM2 for nokia phones and drivers from HERE

so first install the prolific driver .restart.
Install OPM .Restaet.
then connect the cable and phone and PC together.RIGHT...

Instaled OPM 2 .But it is also not detecting the phone.
WHenever i try to connect the phone and Pc using a error message is given as shown in the below Picture.

In OPM select the connection to F-bus/****{something like that},use the correct port and are the drivers correctly installed.On
