nokia 3230 sms locked

I have installed MUM_sms (sms_pass_protect.zip ) in my friends nokia 3230.
With This programme we can set password and then set number as public / private or leave all incoming sms as private. The private sms can be read only if we type the correct password.

The problem is that my friend have changed the password and now he forgets it. Now he cant read any sms since he have set all incoming sms to be in the private list.

I have uninstalled the programme but still cant receive any sms ( it can send out though). I have uninstalled/installed it again and again still it asks for password (old password) after each re install.

Can someone suggest what to do?

if format the memory card and phone restore the only option if so can someone give me a link on how to do it.

hey datz gonna format ur fone ^^^

wel there sum tool dat will export ur sms's as a txt file... su do that first thn format ur fone... then u'll b again havin a workin copy of ur os... so.. u may try this out...
