No entry...help

My PC (Celeron 1.7, 256 RAM) runs WinXP-SP2 and Office 2003. When I start my PC the Windows Welcome screen is displayed followed by completion of the progress bar. The window freezes after that. Upon restarting, safe mode is displayed but I can't enter through that too. I have formatted and reinstalled the OS to no avail. What to do?

Well friends..I have sorted out the problem myself. It was all due to Win32 & Passma virus.
