Nexus 4 Wifi issue.

Guys.
Iam using my wifi from my system connected to HTC hotspot in Nexus 4.Wifi is successfully connected but the download speed is very slow..It is taking nearly 9hours to download a 1.7 MB file
Speed of my wifi is 2.5 MBPs ..
So guys please help me solve this problem.

Do like this, use N4 as hotspot & surf net on HTC !! tell us the result.

But in nexus 4 there is no internet pass through option... It's only available only on my nexus 4 device...

Does this means reverse tethering? As there is no internet pass through option in N4.
Anyways Ill try and will tell you guys.

I have tried the software and of no use.. There's no reverse tethering.. And I don't have any other android phone to check the Wi-Fi . so guys any more suggestions?

I can tether and reverse tether my N4 without any issues. May be there is some problem with your phone's wifi.(H/W or driver issue)

Try RMAing it since you already mentioned that you get slow speeds on wifi.

There is no reverse tethering option in Pdanet+..So how do you use it?

Can you please explain your current setup?

Here is what i normally do:

I have a broadband connection for my macbook and a data plan for my phone.

When i need to access my laptop's broadband:

I connect Ethernet cable to my laptop.
I turn on internet sharing on my laptop.(Share with Ethernet option is selected)
I turn on wifi on my phone and search for my Laptop's name.
Once authenticated, I am able to connect from my phone.

For using my phones dataconnection:

I use pdanet+ for activating wifi hotspot
Specify WPA key
Turn on my laptop's wifi and search for my phone
I enter the WPA key and I am connected!

I don't have laptop.. So I cannot share Wi-Fi from my PC.. So I use HTC hotspot

It can't be any different than sharing in laptop. Turn on hotspot in HTC and see if it is searchable in Nexus 4.

Its searching Nexus 4 device and It is connecting but the speed of my WiFi is very slow in nexus 4..Meanwhile in my tablet the speed is fast with the same WiFi..
Ive just called flipkart for exchange...
