1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run?
Ans: Latest games, Browsing, Movies. Basically more of gaming.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 90k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Yes. CPU only.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 7 64-bit

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 2 TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Don't need a monitor. Got a 22" Full HD.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Don't want to buy : Speakers, UPS, Monitor

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: ~15 days

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: I will do it myself

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Keeping all options open

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Confused whether to go for AMD or Intel. Also I don't know if this is a good time to buy a new GPU. Would prefer a silent setup.

Basically need to accomodate all this in the budget:
Processor
Motherboard
CPU Cooler
RAM
Graphics Card
PSU
Cabinet
DVD Drive
Keyboard/Mouse

Would like a wireless kbd/mouse, 8GB RAM and a CM Storm Stryker(Open to other options as well).

Intel i5 3570k/2500k
Asus P8Z77 V Pro
G.Skill RipjawsX(1600MHz) DDR3 4GB*2 - 3k
Corsair carbide 400r
Corsair hx650 - 6.9k (Modular PSU for better cable management)
Cooler master hyper 212 evo (moderate overclocking) or Noctua NH-D14(for higher clocks)
The SAPPHIRE HD 7970 OC Edition - 32k or GIGABYTE GV-N670WF2-2GD - 25.5k or sapphire vapor x hd7950 -23.5k
Seasonic barracuda 2TB
Asus DRW-24B5ST - 1k
Keyboard/Mouse - Your choice(Razer DA for mouse is a personal choice though)

Preferably go for an ATX mobo.
For gaming he won't need very high overclocks. So hyper 212 evo would do fine.Unless he overclocks too high which is not required for gaming I don't think more money should be spent on cooler.

Asus Nvidia GeForce 2GB GTX 680 DirectCU II OC Graphics Card:Amazon:Computers & Accessories you can go with that. For 34k, it's vfm. (Instead of getting a 670) keyb: get logitech g510/110/105 depending on ur budget, and mouse: cyborg rat3 or rat5 or a deathadder..

CPU, Mobo, RAM, HDD, PSU approved :D
Man what about AMD? They don't do any good in gaming rigs?
Also he really wants a CM Storm Stryker.

CM storm stryker is quite good.
When primary purpose is gaming go with a 2nd/3rd gen i5.
Even at FHD there are quite a number of games which give noticeably lesser frame rates with fx8150 than that with 2nd/3rd gen i5.
If going for ssd preferably get atleast 128GB of storage.

For Graphics Card better get a GTX 670 as it offers better VFM. 90% performance at 80% price when compared to GTX 680. Better save the money for future SLI. :D
For KB and mouse get Logitech G110 & G400. :)

IMO you should buy Zotac GTX670AMP @ 29k (It beats all stock GTX680) or Sapphire Radeon 7970 DualX 3GB Edition @ 31k (Top notch GPU)

For SSD : Stick to Crucial M4

Stryker is monster.

CPU/Mobo : i5 3570k + Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 ~ 16.5k

When the OP is planning to Overclock then he would better get a sandybridge rather than ivybridge as Sandybridge would give more headroom for overclocking without any issues. :)

Thanks everyone.
So far this is what is fixed:

Corsair HX 650
Cooler Master Storm Stryker
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
G.Skill RipjawsX 4GB * 2

For now I need suggestions for a good 2 TB HDD. Not WD Black.. It's too costly.

Its true but Ivy bridge gives 10-15% performance gain over Sandybridge and consumes less power.
And in todays date I would prefer Ivybridge though it sucks at overclocking.

Ivy bridge also gets more heated. The difference generally is ~5%.In many applications difference is not noticeable.
Native usb 3.0 ,faster quick sync are the only real world advantage of ivy over sandy.

Yeah overheating is a big problem specially in India where temperature gets too much in Summers. If planning to overclock I guess Sandybridge would be better but the thing is that they are getting old so......
