SeaMonkey is a product from Mozilla. It is an integrated browser and E-mail client, just like opera. just imagine how good it would be to combine the goodness of firefox and thunderbird in one program. It is not yet fully developed but has been released. it provides great download speeds and very good browsing speeds. Mozilla says it is based on the same engine as firefox 2 and the upcoming thunderbird 2. It can be downloaded from *www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/releases/. It is a 13 MB file, So those on dial-up should get it from their friends.

Why you insult those on dialup? You think we narrow banded people can't get large files? I've downloaded movies on my 33k connection....:)

Otherwise thanks for the info, haven't heard of this SeaMonkey...

Yup, have been using it since last month. Manage one email account through it. Good substitute to Opera.

It's not new, Buddy boy.

It's been there from quite sometime.
I remember it being the codename for the Mozilla Application/Internet Suite.
Maybe a year or so... back... when Firefox started comin into the limelight.

Mozilla had (and still has) a very queer inclination to name its products after animals.
Anyone remember.. when FireFox was called Phoenix, then Firebird.. before FireFox 1.0 was released?
Mayb the senior guyz'll know it... noobies... i don't think so.

Nuthin much. Just a brower+email client ala Opera.
