Confused between GTX 260 and 4870 both have same performance but I do a lot of video encoding so the one that will encode quickly will be my choice

260 is 10K while 4870 is atleast 14K.
So I hope this helps you decide
GTX 260 Core 216 should be enough to game with 30-40fps atleast on most games with high settings @ 1920x1080.So that means I should go for GTX 260.. right??
And what about GTX 275 and 4890.. i'm also interested in those cards.. but suppose if I go for AMD's 7850 X2, i think that the processor will become a bottleneck..
Wait for Athlon II X2 and Phenom II X2 to arrive thenyaar.. i want to go for AMD system again.. I have 4400X2 right now.. 65nm.. 1 MB L2 cache.. want to upgrade from it..
GTX260 is more capable. In short, it can play EVERY game except CRYSIS and CRYSIS Warhead at FULL HD with no stutterring.GTX 260 Core 216 should be enough to game with 30-40fps atleast on most games with high settings @ 1920x1080.
Not even that much, only maybe if u're using 2x GTX295 or 2x HD4870x2, only then would Core i7 be a help, but when the frame rate is above 60 already, how much sense does it make to add more cards to get it over a not at all needed 100!A Core i7 960 would perform only slightly better, by 5-10 FPS in exteme case, compared to P7850BE.
