Right off the assembly line
Dear Sir/Madam
I had a question for networking. We have LAN in our office.
While working on network I had deleted a file from a pc which was in a network. When I realize that the file which was been deleted was the wrong one.
I didn't had that file in Recycle Bin nor in another other folder. It was surprisingly gone.
So, could you help me out to search for the file, where it can be? or Where it suppose to be when a file gets deleted from the network.

In general, when you delete a file over network, it will directly be deleted instead of going to the recycle bin...

Try to use a File Recovery program such as PC Inspector File Recovery at *www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm but there is no guarantee of success...

As always, Prevention is better than cure... Hopefully, once bitten you will be twice shy...

First checkout for backup on the server.. ( if you have any ). then on your ftp server...,,, then recycle...bin...

if you couldnt' able to fine the file..then go for some file recovery software...like pc inspector..file recovery .. freeware..
