Hi m8.. rite now am doing project in IBM in J2EE.. When it comes to J2EE everything is important... Like, we are working on Servlets and Struts..

Ok, now from the interview point of view, I can tell u preparing for J2EE is a long-term process.. But I 'd recommend NIIT's Material for J2EE.. u have some small books for each of JSP, Servlets, Java Beans, JDBC ..

All those are really crisp, and basics of what u need to know.. That'd definitely help.. Try and get a photocopy of them.. That Material has mostly the stuff needed for interviews.. But they arent deep enuf.. But def good for interview..

AND.. Install J2EE/Tomcat server on your PC and work thru... Practical knowledge definitely helps..

Go to www.freshersworld.com . They have a secton of technical questions that are generally asked in interviews. I don't exactly know the link of the java page, but u can easily get the qstns once u go to questions page on freshersworld. They include qstns on Java, C & C++, Oracle etc.

Hope they will b useful.

I think u should search google for SUN certification in J2EE. Coz, looking at the syllabus of J2EE certificatoin will clear all ur doubts abt what is included in J2EE.

mate...take it easy....This is coming from an interviewers perspective. Things that I generally look for:

1) Be confident in what you know.

2) We dont expect you to know everything. Thats impossible. Have been in IT for 7 years. Am a tech arch still I dont knw so much! Learn to say I dont know!

3) Know your basics really well. Thats what most people look for. Dont throw around FUNDAS. That just makes you look stupid.

4) Learn core java very well. Also in servlets learns about the advantages and disadvantages.

5) JSP - learn it well for JSP and Servlets will be what u might be working on mostly.

6) Chill...be calm...be confident....and u'll make it...

All the best!!!
