TDS= Total Dissolved Solids. Have a look "HERE" for more details.

The TDS can be measured using a TDS Meter, which is often done by the technicians visiting your place to install their Purifiers. You can ask the people to visit your place and measure TDS once you decide which brand you are going for. Based on the TDS value, they will suggest the models.
