Hey guys i have recently bought a MSI HD 6850 Cyclone edition/Factory OC
I am planning on buying a Corsair 600W PSU
I have a question If i want to buy another HD 6850 and CF will my PSU run it?
Are CF 6850 good for gaming with the next gen games(i.e Max PAyne 3,CoD BO 2,Crysis 3 :p)
Or should i sell my GFX later and buy a completely different GFX altogether
My specs-
Phenom II 960T
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB DDR3
Biostar TA 990FX

I can change the PSU if advised

First of all performance of a gpu depends on what resolution you will be playing. If its 1050p then you will be fine with the 6850. If its 1080p then you have to lower the grafix quality a little for smoother play :)
I think the corsair 600w should be enough, though i would suggest a 650txv2 or a seasonic s12ii 620w to be on the safer side.
It is always recommended to get a new gpu instead of multi-gpu configurations.

^ Or Seasonic 620W.

BTW CFing Low-end GPU,you may/will exp Micro-stuttering
Micro-Stuttering And GPU Scaling In CrossFire And SLI : Micro-Stuttering, Multi-Card Scaling, And More!

Other problems includes Power consumption which is 260W for HD6850 CF + Overall Temp/heat issue

So better sell HD6850 later and buy HD7870/660 Ti.....way better in power consumption and no heat issues.

NOTE: GTX660Ti shd be available before you decide to sell ur HD6850.

2x6850 won't be too bad for upcomming games though i always suggest people if they have option then they should go for single gpu.
For 2x6850 u should go for atleast 650+ psu.
