I take it the purpose of the system is everyday use like downloading, casual gaming, watching movies & you know the rest,am I right?
Well if it is then :
Athlon II X4 635 - 4.5k
ECS 885GM A2 - 4.3k
Corsair DDR3 1333MHz 2*2GB - 2.4k
NZXT GAMMA - 2k OR CM Elite 310 - 1.5k
How big a monitor would you like?

Oh & if your budget permits then please change that PSU.

If OP is not buying a new graphics card and will use the old 9600 GT then VIP Gold 600W is not at all any problem. It can even run HD 5750 without any problem.

Yes. Vip psu's are good and i had read the same in past digit issues. They even recommended a vip psu to power lower to midrange cards with a decent configuration.

@ jas

Buddy he can go for 2x2gb ram if he ditches buying a new psu. The vip 600 gold is a good psu.

vicky another 2gb ddr3 ram will cost 1.2k only. can be brought any time later! also for casual use it wont make any difference.

Ok a good psu is always advisable. Fsp is more reliable anyway so op can consider it. Cilus recently bought me a corsair cx400 @ 2.5k for my uncle.

AMD Athlon II x4 635 @ 4.4k
Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H @ 4.4k
Corsair 2GB 1333Mhz Value x 2 @ 2.4k
Zebronics Bijli @ 1.3k
Samsung B2230 @ 7.1k

Really not much need to change PSU , VIP is good enough .. a decent PSU is always recommened , but that doesn't mean we should ditch any good PSU to get one of the Best .

Agreed. When OP will go for a new Gfx card he can go for a GPU+PSU combo then. He is already having one decent PSU to easily run his system and that's why I suggested not to change right now.
