need help in antivirus

Friends,

I am looking for a new antivirus for my home pc. As i don't have internet connection at home now, i need an antivirus whose updates can be downloaded seperately and then updated later on. The antivirus can be free or commercial.

I have seen many good antivirus cannot be updated seperately like NOD32, Kaspersky 2009 etc.

I am planning to install Avira.

Please suggest.

Check AVG8 free version.
In previous days the updates for this AV was possible to download separately. I don't use it, so can't comment on its recent status.
Its the best in FREE.

I suggest you to go with Kaspersky Internet Security.
Offline Updates are provided for it.
