But wants only i5 - 4440

Need to buy a new PC for brother who is into gaming, graphic editing, programming etc. here is questionnaire:

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: COD:Ghosts, GTA 5, Crysis 3, Farcry 3, Dead Space 3, Batman, NFS Series, Bioshock Series
Adobe Photoshop
Video Editing
Various SDKs, VB2013

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:55k at max

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:Never done but can try

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 7 / 8

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes. Looking at Samsung 18.5" LED

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I want to build from scratch

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: within next week

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:will be done by an assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Ahmedabad, open to online as well.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:Looking at following config:

G-Skill/Corsair 4GBx2
Zotac GTX 650Ti Boost 2GB DDR5
no idea about cabinet, Power supply - performance main criteria, not good looks.

why 20' dell when he can get a much superior dell 22" full hd screen?

Instead of NZXT Gamma you can go for Antec V1 (2.6k) or Coolermaster N200 (3k). I personally don't like the looks of nzxt gamma. :)

Thanks all for suggestions. I have fwd them to my bro.

I am more inclined with this though would prefer 8gb ram.

a good cable management with a good capable cabinet cable mgmt1.jpg

very low cost cabby with no cable management holes at all and hence managing cables is very difficult.antec v1 will be little better. but a cabby with cable better and very good management option are available at little higher or less cost. so i dont suggest v1 ;-) anyway it depends on the buyer whether he wants looks or performance FXOYQ50GRFN21IO.LARGE.jpg
