i've got following stuff lying at my place-
1.Asus M2N-MX
2.Asus 7300 LE
3.Kingston DDR2 800 4 sticks of 1gb each
4.80GB Sata HDD
5.17' LG CRT
6.A ups

now i can build a new pc by just spending on a proccy + cooler.
Will this mobo support the new Phenom?
which processor should i get?

well the thing is this motherboard is not mine.i had M2n 32 sli.i gave it to my cousin and took this board.coz i already got a Q6600.i got 2 pcs at home-a vintage celeron and Q6600 + a macbook pro.i was thinking of linking 2 pcs and then share the load.

u shud push those into a cabby, orelse it wud go kaput when it rains:D
and the rig seems too nature friendly:D
[no offense]

And i dun understand, whats apps u might be using that even Q6600 isn't enuf?
And whats the need of resource sharing as most apps dun bottleneck Q6600?
And even the network linkage has b/w limitation nd even it cud be bottleneck. So real boost in performance, u shud have gud network with higher bandwidth than 10/100 or 1g.

:D u like my rig
no not network link.its gonna be optical.now the apps-its the plugins and yes they are bit toooooo resource hungry.East west bosendorfer take almost 4gbr ram.waves plugins eat processor like crysis eats gfx cards :)
so it would be better to share the load.
i think i m settling for a X2 6000+ .i cant buy a new mobo coz i gotta return this one.
