if the matter of sound quality then i choose the best sound card.budget 10-12k.or may be higher.
I have Logitech z5500 speaker 5.1

not every time price is not important, price is high but product not as much good as price...

Im sorry to say but you dont have a good or revealing Home Theater set up that will do justice to a Rs 12K sound card. You wont even notice the difference trust me when its audio! You will be simply wasting the money. If you had a Rs 120K Home theater set up with a good AVR I would have asked you to get a great sound card.

For the kind of speakers or the Z5500 speakers that you have you are too good with a Asus Xonar DSX,if you need encoding on the fly or if just analog get the DGX.But since DSX has Wolfson DACs its a tad warmer over the DGX which use Cirrus Logic and is more bumped in the mid frequency range ,and since the Z5500 are brash the DGX is a better match being neutral and warmer. The maximum you should spend considering the the justice your Inbuilt amp and satellite speakers will do you should not buy anything above a Asus Xonar DX.

Xonar Essence STX and XT are good when you have Dynaudio as your PC speakers!!! I use onboard with a Razer Mako and ASUS Xonar STX only with my Rs 150K+ stereo system! So thats the relativity.......

My two cents....now its your call!

no offense to Op but why people not always search first and then ask ;-) .. after getting a suggestion for a product the first thing one should do is to check out the specs on the manufacturers website.
