Need a Gaming + HTPC for 60k..

I'm posting this thread on behalf of my friend.

His budget is 55k + 5k for OS(win 7 home basic).

Pls comment whether the following is ok or to make any changes.

AMD Phenom II 955 BE @ 7.5k
Gigabyte 880GM-USB3 @ 5.5k (whats the diff btwn usb3 and ud2-h version ?)
Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz @ 4.5k
Benq G2420HD @11k
Saphire Radeon 6850HD @12.3k (or 5830HD @ same price)
Seagate 500GB @1.7k
Cooler Master Elite 430 @2.5k
Corsair VX 550w @5k
APC 650va ups (not sure about the price )


Total 50k+ups price.

These are Chennai prices...

^^ USB3 have USB3.0 controller but no Sata 6Gbps. UD2H doesn't have USB3.0 or Sata 6Gbps.

Will corsair 450w be able to handle 6850 card ? (if ther were 2-3 hdd and addon cards )

^^Yeah VX450W will handle that.Just to put yourself at ease use a realpowercalculatorpro or something like that(just google it).

dude.., then i'd have to order everything from smc as majority of the products are atleast 0.5-1k high here..

Get corsair. If spending 14k on monitor get dell u2311h. The monitor i mentioned is better than benq. The mobo i mentioned has both sata3 and usb3.

but official recommendation by AMD on their site is 500w or more PSU for 6850. OP can go for seasonic 500w for 4.2k.just 0.4k more.

yes 24'' will be good that to with 6850 will be better. but dont ever attracted by this LED stuff.its originally LED backlit LCD, its been overhyped and practically LED monitors has to be more cheaper than CFL. its the panel that matters to you. get IPS at the same cost.
