Need a Decent Graphic Card

Hello Guys....
I want a Good graphic Card in the price range of Rs.3000-4000.
Please tell me if it can play games like F.EA.R.,Half-Life2 and Doom3 in acceptable settings. I have 512MB DDR RAM........
Also Intel 845 should support this , cause thats my motherbord.

Please help, i will buy it today only

Geforce 6200 seems to be the only card in ur range....maybe even 9800 Pro is available for 4k

With a 6200 u can play all the games at mid settings...

See to play doom-3 or FEAR any card would suffice albeit comprising with visual quality. Intel 845 motherboards support agp4X(as u have not mentioned the full model no.), so if you are going to buy a current generation card it would be either agp8X or pci-express. As you have mentioned ur budget is around 4K, you would find many decent cards which would give great value for your money. Take note of the following cards which are the best in the budget category:

1) PowerColor 9600 XT VIVO(256MB DDR, supports both AGP 4X/8X interface)
2) PowerColor 9800 SE(256MB DDR, supports both AGP 4X/8X interface)
3) Gigabyte 9550 Pro(model no-GV-R955256DP2, 256MB DDR2)
4) Gigabyte 6200+HSI(model no-GV-N62128DP, 128MB DDR)

At least a 6200 nd 512 MB ram nd 2.4Ghz+intel or 1.8Ghz+AMD.
To enjoy a game u need at least 6600 GT, 1Gb ram, 2.8Ghz intel or 2Ghz+AMD64 nd 17" or higher monitor with a 5.1 setup or a good quality headphones.

Oblivion 4 is the most res hungry game till date....X1900 XTX + AMD X2 3800+ or better should allow the game to be played with decent settings.....not sure,but i think its gonna be heavy for 6600 GT....,may be even 7600 GT is gonna have trouble handling it at good res and detail level.
