gaming card = good for gaming & really bad in rendering. also depends on the apps using. some may work while others may fail totally but in the end, your productivity will be affected. use it if rendering is your hobby.
Pro card = good for Pro works & good for entry level gaming. most games will not work & some may even fail due to driver problem.
so only best option is to get a console & than spend the rest of the money in a PC. cause a workstation price can be altered or brought down without significant loss in performance but can't be done same in a PS3 or Xbox360.
