XMMS, Amarok, VLC,Xine, MPlayer
search on sourceforge for it.
Where you can get it depends on your distro, most of them are present in the distro cd's itself.

Which Linux distro Do You Use?

AmaroK is Comparable to Windows Media Player 9/10 (or iTunes)

XMMS is old, Beep-Media-Player is Suitable Replacement for it.

BMP is dead in favour of BMPx. The fork of BMP in active developement is audacious.

I would also recommend amaroK. It is the best thing available right now
