hello. I need a motherboard for my Q6600 processor. Budget = 5k and I need to buy urgently. P45 chipset preferred. Thank you.

As far I know p45 chipsets are hard to find within 5k. Those would cost you min 9-10k

can get P43. its almost equivalent to P45. MSI P43 or something of that kind. and if going for P45, i'll suggest better go for X48.
^^Ya you are right. ASUS P5QL-PRO that I've mentioned avobe is P43 board.

oh, i thought its P45. Asus's boards name are really strange. very hard to figure out on what chipset its based on.

P45/P43 mobos won't have HDMI, i think. theres no IGP. for HDMI u'll need a graphics card.

P45 chipsets would not come with HDMI native port, cause they do not have IGP. If you want IGP+onboard HDMI choose another chipset. You will need to mount a VGA card on the P45, which of course will have HDMI, or a DVI to HDMI converter (usually bundled with the accelerator) can be mounted.

change the PSU to avoid damage to your rig in future. get something like Gigabyte 460W/FSP Saga II 400W so your PC safe & future upgrade path open.

both PSU i suggested falls between 2-2.5k, depending on where you buy. both same PSU so buy which one you get cheaper. or if u can increase your budget by 300 bucks more, u may get the Corsair CX400W which is superior to both the PSU. in efficiency + warranty.
