This one is for my friend's mom as he wants to gift her something on the moment of his first salary.

Requirements:

2. Multimedia
3. ??

And not sure what a mom will require ?

He is considering Nokia 5233.

Ahh not Nokia, please. IMO though. Beside Nokia, there are SE Natie, Cedar and from LG Cookie Fresh, Cookie Plus, there is Samsung Metro also, a lot of options. Best is to go to store and see by yourself.

Don't go for touch screen if his mom does not have any previous experience of using mobile phones.
