His budget is 40k and not 47K. If OP gets the Gtx 650 Ti for 10k it will be balanced

Are you surely going to overclock? Maybe" "iffy" will hamper as to what you can get otherwise. Cause a K and Z will seriously eat in to the vital components budget that is the GPU.And moreover you will get a middle of the road Z77 mainboard in your specified budget which will be neither here nor there.

There is some msi z77 mobo on flipkart for around 7.5k-8k in flipkart, it also supports sli/cf. And I found some people could overclock their i5-3570k's at 4.5ghz easily. I think thats a perfect board for you. But remember to get 212 evo with it.

Hmm.... Yes... Locked on 3570K to OC!! maybe not to extreme levels... hmm... Is Z77 Pro 3 not worth for OC?

H77 chipset cant be overcloaked. So only choice is Z77...

Why dont you go with a FX 8350 and a Asus M5A97 Evo R2 @ only 18k .. .

draco21

Dragon...Dragon...Dragon.
Man does games include latest titles like crysis 3 or farcry 3??

if yes, get 7850 minimum
get 3450 if needed or u can get 7870 by going 3450....

if no, 650ti will do fine...... u can go 8350 way.......

fx mobo 650 will cost 30k app.

7870 3450 mobo will go 33-34k app. or with 7850, 30k

take 1st if not much into gaming else go 2nd.

note:- 7850/7870 is much faster than 650ti and GPU performance matters in gaming.

It is a H77 Based Motherboard only.. I think you are an Intel Fanboy .!!! For the tasks you have mentioned the FX would kill anything for its price...

At his budget and specified scope of work ....ONE MORE VOTE FOR the FX 8350 and M5A97. The M5A97 is available at Rs 5900/6100 in Kolkata!!! Amazing value for money.

Your rig is gonna be working 24/7 and you can save over 100 watts using i5-3570k. The motherboard I was talking about is msi z77MA-g45. Its out of stock on flipkart now and I saw it go as low as 7.4k on flipkart only and it supports sli/cf.
If you want any serious fhd gaming dont go below hd7850 1gb/ 650ti boost 1gb
7850 is around 13k and boost will launch in india around next week.
With this combo you will have to shell out around 21-22k with sli/cf support!!
Get this mobo blindly as its the cheapest one of its kind. And you can overclock your whole system in one click in its bios ;)

OP, if you have plan for high overclocking then don't get sub 9K cheaper Motherboards. Their VRM (Voltage Regulation Module) design is not at all good and high overclocking might lead to damage of PC components.
