Mid range gaming rig for friend

A: Gaming + Occasional HD Movies

2. Are you open to alternate ideas/products giving similar better performance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not- why?
A: Yes

3. What is your MAX budget?
A: 60k, not even a rupee more!

4. Planning to overclock?
A: No.

5. Which OS are you planning to use?
A: Windows 7

6. How much hard drive space is needed?
A: 500GB or 1TB.

7. What resolution will the screen run at & whats the size of the screen you want? If you already want have one and want to use it, mention its resolution and size.
A: Already have a BenQ G2220HD..

8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest)
A: 2

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
A: Assembler

10. When are you planning to buy the system?
A: within 2 weeks

11. Are you one of the types looking out for "future proof" configurations?
A: Yes, should last for atleast 5 years.

12. Are there going to be any components that you don't want to include in this new rig? If yes, do mention.
A: Monitor.

13. Which city do you live in and are you open to buying from shops from other city/states?
A: New Delhi.

14. Mention any other points if deemed necessary
A: This computer is for my friend who wants to enjoy all latest games and some HD movies too. He needs everything needed in a computer including softwares(but not monitor). The computer should last for atleast 3 years without any problem and 5 years with just minor upgrades.

I guess I am forgetting some things, so I will edit the post when I remember them :)

And assuming that
He needs everything needed in a computer including softwares
also means that you want to include OS and Antivirus etc in this budget, for remaining money you can get the Windows 7 and a decent Anti-virus. :)

And if OS ts not in this budget, then you can also upgrade the processor, but I am not sure how much it will cost and will other components support it...

And if you are not going for Win7 ultimate, and you are getting a lower version and save around 2k, you can get a Logitech G110 or Sidewinder x4.. They are great gaming keyboards, and will let your friend enjoy his rig completely.. :)

in nipun's config, just change these
add HD 6970/ GTX 570
CM 690II advanced
APC 800VA

You'll still have around 7-8k for your OS and anti-virus softwares
