Make firefox default browser for msn messenger

I am currently using MSN Messenger 8.5, and I've got Mozilla Firefox 3.0.19 set as my default browser.

Every time I open a link in my MSN messenger, it opens the Internet Explorer :mad:

Is there any way I can use Firefox as my default browser for MSN IM? :(

change is constant!!
check edit->firefox preferences->advanced tab->general tab
there u can find system defaults, where u can set default browser.

I dont think you can do that as the Messenger is provided with the Windows, and they would like you to use IE

looks like MSN uses only IE. but still u can do. u need to modify registry parameters.
but that will be messy for beginners. take a backup of registry before doing..
