Looking for an Android phone for around 25k.

I am looking for an Android phone. my budget is Rs.25k.
I will mainly be using it for gaming, reading digital comics, surfing internet, music and using the normal mobile phone features(calling, alarm etc... not texting though).

I did some research and i have decided to get a Sony Xperia Play. So can you pls tell me whether it is a good phone, its price in India atm.

If you can suggest any other good phones within my budget pls do so.

sony ericsson play is specifically for gaming and wont receive ICS update...
Samsung galaxy s2 is the way to go..

Gaming is what most i will be doing on the phone. what is the price of galaxy s2 and what is the price of xperia play??

experia play ~19k and S2 is currently about 27.5k and will get price cut soon due to the launch of S3

spend a little bit more and get Galaxy SII..its a very good phone and you won't regret buying it!!

Galaxy s2 is a bit expensive than my budget, I am planning to get a new phone by 15th june, so I can wait till then. Hope price of s2 falls down till then.

By then hopefully there there will be a price cut.
I suggest you to have a look at Sensation, can also consider Xperia P
