Silver it is. We have doubled our medal tally this time around. Only a gold medal is missing. Although 6 medals for 83 athletes is not a good average, the comparison should always be with ourselves. This is a huge improvement. Hopefully, we will be much better at Rio 2016.

well, a thousand bronze medals can't equate to one gold as far as I am concerned.

But overall, it's an okay showing considering our cultural and historical standards + backwardness.

Really proud of Haryana, Manipur, Andhra and Himachal.

london olympic 2012 wasn't a bad olympic for indians.Though they didn't win the gold medal but they got 6 medal 2 silver and 4 bronze.
