Logical Partition files system getting corrupted.

Right off the assembly line
Hi All,
Need help with my windows XP :-?. Brought new machine couple of days ago, i formatted the new Samsung 500 GB Hard disk and created logical partition via computer management.
Now every time i turn on my PC, windows CHKDSK function starts and it starts detecting unreadable files on logical drives which doesn't even have any data on it. On navigating to computer management, what i see is, one of the logical partition with unreadable files files system is not shown and on clicking on that drive XP asks for formatting that drive saying the drive was not formatted.
I have already replaced my hard disk once from my dealer.
Funny thing is i did not have anything on this drive as this is my new hard disk.
