Laptop temperatures

Hi guys, what temperatures of CPU, GPU is fine for idle laptops?

1070 runs at 54 degrees while browsing 10 chrome tabs @ 2100 rpm fan speed.
i7 6700HQ runs at 61 degrees while browsing 10 chrome tabs @ 2100 rpm fan speed.

I have a setting to max out my fan speed(4800 rpm), when I do this, in 1-2 minutes the temperatures fall to 39-42 degrees for both cpu, gpu

I live in Bangalore the ambient temperature is 30 degrees.

Laptop model is Gigabyte p57x.


Guys suggest a decent cooling pad for 17inch model under ~2k

temps are fine. If they go beyond those above mentioned or above 90 under load only then you need to think about it otherwise don't worry. These temps are normal for laptops.

Now I am playing CS 1.6 at 70% CPU the temps are,
CPU 60
GPU 54

Wait let me play a high graphics game now and see...
