Hi

I am doing my Diploma in Electronics in Telecommunication.

It will be completed this year, and i don't want to do degree.

I will do my CCNA cource and opt to do many Courses because i think they give us much more knowledge than the over-whiped degree.

I am interested in Information Security in my future.

I am not agree with this topic up to some extent , because you can get job without a degree but not progress in future.

the only field where talent matters & no degree are the creative fields like animation, advertising, film making etc...

True that talent matters....but its not the same case that every company believes.....the trust factor of the company most of the time lies in the educational qualifications of the candidate....i mean you can't ask a nurse to operate on the patient unless he is a fully functional surgeon....

Educational qualifications act as an entry point for a job....later only your talent matters.

its like if you do Diploma their is no need of Degree.

I think it should be over hyped, correct me if I am wrong.

As for your question. A degree opens a lot more opportunities. So getting one is never a bad idea. It's like a minimum cut off required by companies among the hordes of applicants. And then there are other criteria too.

But one thing you can do is to work in a start up or small company for 1-2 years and then just switch over to a good post in a big company.AT that point your talent will be seen as opposed to the degree you are holding.

It is possible to get a job without degree but for that you have to decide in which area you want to go.

Then you have to improve your skills in it,write various tests and be updated in it.

Just believe in you that you can do it.I also recommend to you to study for a degree part time.
