issue while connecting LCD to Computer via HDMI .. problem !!

In the zone
I am trying to connect my Videocon LCD TV 19" via HDMI to my computer (Mobo : gigabite H61M D2H via HDMI).
On the LCD screen, i jus get blank screen displayed with 4095 X 768 X 60Hz displayed oin the corner of the screen.

I am clueless ??? wht should i do???

But when i connect the same to my Sony LCD 32" .. its quickly shows the display ...\

What might be the problem??

When I select the other input medium on the LCD .. it says no signal....

concluded: it was some issue related to the resolution.

used VGA to VGA cable from computer to LCD. Now resolution detected 1024 X 768 X 60hz

Well you have to select input medium as HDMI. I do the same for my 4 year old PC at my village. I select AV for DTH and HDMI for PC. :)

yes ... did the same thing as u said.... but still the same problem.

anyways .. the problem was solved ....used VGA to VGA cable from computer to LCD and selected the input method as VGA on the LCD.
