Ok.. I came to know of the problem..The TIM that was applied was too thick. I made the TIM almost translucent by evening it by credit card and now the temperatures stay between 45-49 at idle.

BMG ftw!!
^^ Still too high as idle temperature. That temperature should be well accepted as high load temperature.

After running Prime95 for 2 hours temperature was 63. Didn't go higher. I'm buying a new rig in 2-3 months. Don't you think 45-49 will last me that much?

I also think there is a problem with my sensors.because for some minutes it shows me temperatures of 32 degrees at idle but suddenly goes upto 76 in 1 second then comes back to 54 and after sometime stays idle at 45..doesn't change a single bit. I have tried this with CoreTemp, SpeedFan, HWMonitor etc.

If load temperature is 63, then it will last for next 2-3 months easily in one condition: stop your gaming habit (if you have any) ;)

just try to drag this system for a couple of months more
and then you;l be buying a whole new system

btw 147 degrees is impossible
"sensors" are faulty
