I had to buy the galaxy s i9003 because i could not find any other model in that price range.. But i did not experience any bugs till now.. i guess the bugs have been fixed..

Uhu, Not Gonna Happen!
As I said earlier there are no bugs except some issues with GPS.
If you turn off Background Data and Auto-sync under Settings>Accounts and Sync you will see an increase in battery life. Moreover using app such as Optimize Tool you can kill many unused startup items and other services which help in saving battery.
The display of these handsets is so big that it is unwise to expect battery to last whole day on medium usage.
