Is brainwave entrainment software safe?

Today while surfing on net i came across some brainwave entrainment software.are those software safe to use or have some sort of side-effects.
does those software need special hardware or daily pc & headphone is more than enough?

Im not advertising anything im just asking for opinion if someone know anything about brainwave entrainment.this concept is new for me but this is the very first time i ever heard of that term.
BRAINWAVZ m2 is just name of model of BRAINWAVZ brand which is specialized in audio equipment manufacturing ie. headphone, earphone
