My Intel Core i5 M480 supports Intel virtualization technology. I get an option to enable this in BIOS. But I don't know what this thing is. Should I enable it or leave it disabled?

if u r planing to use SErver os with HYper V or Virtual box or VMware to run a OS inside ur primary os

like Installing LInux inside ur win 7 or vice ver u should enable it for better performance ELSE u can disable

though virtualization is a bit old, but this will make a good read

It is hardware virtualization, I'd recommend enabling it only if you use any OS virtually with VirtualBox or VMware. Some OS need hardware virtualization to be run virtually.
