How good are *.info domains?
I dont know anything about domains! So Pl tell me anything abt them
I think i hav to pay for this only 1 time but domains like .com requires u to pay every year. Is dat so?
How much time will it take to get ur self hosted (I am thinking of shifting my blog to wordpress)

Every domain requires yearly payment. Personally, I think .info is crap, a .net would give a much better respect to your site.

Time to get hosted? Nothing, just pay and start using I guess. DNS migration might take a day or two at max but if you are on OpenDNS or something like that, even that's not an issue.

.info stand for information.If your site has something informative data..than you can go for .info domain name.

But always prefer .com (mine personal suggestion)
Than think for .net and than .org

No domain name registration is done by one time payment.You need to pay on yearly basis.Minimum registration period is 1 yr.

Yes, info is also yearly payments. Costs less than .com. net and .org so beginners like it

.info is cheaper only on first year, next year its cost is equivalent to .com
