avast! home edition is cool... its working fine in background and not eating my memory like norton. Updates silently...its better then norton...

Avast & AVG r kool.
Dunno y.. but when I installed Active Virus Shield & Antivir.. they seem to behave problematic with me in the beginning. So.. I came back to my old favs.. Avast & AVG again. I hate irritating programs. Silk smooth.
Just a personal opinion.

Mayb the others r better. But the best always changes. One day.. it's Kapersky... one day it's Norton... one day Antivir.... so... no big deal... For the normal to super-normal guys... a free av solution is best. Only the corporates should go for the paid hugies
