not to a far extent but somewhat its slower when compared to nod32 & antivir

may be. it's ur xperience. everyone has his own xperience. if someone asks me a question abt antivirus, i wud close eyed say avast.

Avast is good av but it is bulky Above 40mb in mem

For top performance and protection use AVS,Kav6 or nod32

For going for a best Antivirus u have to choose ur comp usage habbits.Then opt for the right one.

For home use i think any Antivirus be it MacFee or Norton works but if ur going for net surfng then be alert!!!!!!!!

Iuse MacFee with up-to-date updation.it is good having many other options inspite of Antivirus .

The updation of Antivirus through net is a must task for the Antivirus.Be aware of it.
