huge download, no upload?(with torrents)

In torrents,your upload is directly proportional to your download speed

^^: guys....i aint trying to hogg ohers bandwidth....but the ratio of download to upload isn't fair for me, because download is usually less than 30KBps, and upload soars at above 80KBps, i would be okay with it if my bandwidth was unlimited, bu tit isn't.......sorry if any one emisunderstood my question, but now you know my problem, and i would appreciate some answers.....

@techtronic download is in no wayy related to upload speed..

simply right click on the torrent> go to properties> there you can set the maximum doenload and upload speeds.. just change it there..

in µTorrent, you can easily configure the upload and download limit there's options for download and upload limit.
you can set the upload limit to a minimum of 5 KB/s.

Use uTorrent... Dont set the maximum upload limit to a lower figure as the download speed is only 6 times of your upload limit. Instead set your upload and download speed to 0 i.e. unlimited. Later when you add a torrent file to download, right click on it and select properties and there set the upload limit to whatever speed to want. This way your download limit wont be restricted...

Always remember, P2P is all about shairing and if you dont share, you are not supposed to download either.

there's an option in utorrent and Azureus both to get a desired upload speed on the right bottom of the screen where it shows upload speed right click there and choose the upload speed for urself
