Hey guys..

I'm looking for a smartphone (No symbian pls). My budget is upto Rs. 25-26k. How is HTC Touch Diamond? What I like about it over other phones is the 640x480 resolution. Can you recommend any other smartphones in this range? I'm wary of Symbian because I had the Nokia E50 and had an unpleasant experience with it. I certainly can't think of accessing office mails on Symbian phones. Too clumsy.

I may or may not necessarily want a 480x640 screen, but one feature that I want is Wi-Fi.

XPERIA??

Will be around the 30k mark since SE recently slashed the prices a bit.
Samsung OMNIA is a good choice too.

But, in your budget, the touch diamond seems the best bet.

God for the Touch Diamond. New phone, good UI, fair price, whopping resolution and screen size, and a great feature set. Trust me, browsing web on 640x480 will be heaven!!! :D

Added: Might I ask what problems did you face with E50 apart the E-mail access thing? I recommended the same to a friend recently and he hasnt bought it but is going to. Is it in any way buggy or slow?

Thanks for the quick replies, guys. How much would the Omnia cost in India? Also which phones would you recommend in the upto 20k range? I'm looking to buy a phone most probably next month.

@IronMan - It died on me. Wasted 11k on that PoS. Currently using a 8310. :(

You get any VFM WM phones in the 20k category.THE omnia would set you back by 30k at the least.

Save some money and go for the x1. :D

As for now the touch diamond is your best bet unless you settle for symbian.
