how to update norton AV on multiple pc's

guys i used to coneect to net and do the live udate of NAV 2005 on one pc...
now can i do the same update on another pc by just coping some files from the updated pc to the target pc without it connecting to net...
i mean to say where r those live updates savd on hdd which i can copy on another pc to update its s/w?

You can do one thing go to symantec website and download the latest definations direct from the website then you can easily install the updates on both computers.

yes you can get this file and download directly from the norton website. This file will only work if you have the actual verison/multi user on every pc that you own.

well Norton Antivirus is made for single user PC support... so there is no direct option for it...

try the offline update feature for virus definetion... but for Program update u must run liveupdate from each PC... but the downloads will b smaller after u update once & keep the offline defination update going regularly...

u can download what they call 'intelligent updates'

that is...the updates come as setup files

but they are only virus defs so u hav no choice but to dload seperately...this is bugging i kno cuz i got limited dloads per month and this brings it down wen i update all ovr the lan

so now wat i do is update virus defs regularly but i update the rest only at the end of the month wen i got some spare downloads left to use lol
