how to make autorun cd of any software

but i couldn`t figure out the ico file.. how should i make one ????????

To make an icon file, create an image of desired size (32x32,48x48) in Paint and save as a '.ico' file. Alternatively, u cud use IconArt and other icon editors.

You can use an icon making utility provided with Knoppix to make an icon file (.ico). Its pretty easy.

Alternatively, make a 16x16 (or may be 32x32) bitmap and then rename the .bmp file to .ico file. Most of the applications will pick it up as an icon however some may give you an error.

Dude open NOTEPAD and type as follows

[autorun]
open=file.exe
icon=file.ico

save this file as autorun.inf
under dir where the content ur going to write
mention the locations clearly dude that location follows only in the contents of ur cd !
